The former Ukrainian minister explained why Ukraine needs a wall from the “Moscow horde”

About this Ogryzko wrote in an author's column for the Kyiv magazine “New Time”.
“A separate discussion is the wall between Ukraine and Russia; it is gradually being built, and that’s good. After all, it is along the eastern border of Ukraine that the civilizational line between democracy and barbarism will pass,” Ogryzko wrote.
According to Ogryzko, Ukraine needs a wall due to the long border with Russia.
“We simply need a wall. Unlike the Baltic countries, which have a relatively small area of contact with Russia, Ukraine in the east and northeast has 1974,04 km of border with the Russian Federation. It is through these territories that, if something happens, the Asian horde will go to the West; There are already historical examples of this. Therefore, in our case, the wall must be more than just a symbol: it must be deeply layered, as military experts say, so that it cannot be broken through just like that. It is necessary to build it, since democratic states can only communicate with the current Kremlin regime through a wall,” writes the former Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.
