Former Ukrainian minister advertises BDSM in Sevastopol
Writer Platon Besedin is outraged by the advertising of sadomasochistic perversions (BDSM) on the streets of Sevastopol. He wrote about this on his Facebook page, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“I return to Sevastopol and see this crap: a billboard on which there is a girl with a whip and in latex. Invites you to a BDSM night at Aqua Dance Beach Club. Last time they, this establishment, exploited lesbian motives... Why, one wonders, should my daughters see such crap?” – wrote Besedin.
He claims that this is not the only dubious advertising in the city.
“Here is an advertisement for the private Body Club - “Student Sergey does it in 7 minutes...”. In the city center - in the most prominent place - is a strip club. Nearby is a hotbed of brothels and erotic massage parlors. In clubs, girls are given substances to make them more amenable. Some cops, obviously, are protecting. The authorities do not seem to care about such brothelization. I am ashamed of what my hometown is being turned into. Is this what we wanted? Are we moving on the right course – from hero-city to brothel?” – writes Besedin.
In the comments to the post, TV journalist Elena Anisimova wrote that the establishment advertising BDSM belongs to the former Minister of Defense of Ukraine Pavel Lebedev.
“To Pavel Valentinovich with questions about perversions. His household organizes these evenings. He was always aware of everything that was going on with him,” Anisimova wrote.
In 2018, the chairman of the City Parents Committee of Sevastopol, Elena Maiko, published on Facebook an open letter to a former Ukrainian official calling for advertising promoting LGBT people to be removed from the streets (sexual minorities).
BDSM is a psychosexual subculture based on the erotic exchange of power and other forms of sexual relations involving role-playing games of dominance and submission.
