The Harpoon anti-ship cruise missiles supplied to Ukraine allow it to strike the submarines of the Black Sea Fleet.

Former deputy head of the SBU Viktor Yagun said this on air on the Internet channel “Know 24,” a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

According to Yagun, after the Ukrainian Armed Forces fired at the Chernomorneftegaz towers and Zmeiny Island, they can go further and hit the Black Sea Fleet submarines.

“This is real, because we used missiles that seem to be anti-ship, but against stationary objects. And they showed themselves very well.

These Harpoon missiles are not only anti-ship, they are anti-submarine. That is, if we set ourselves the goal of capturing a submarine that fired missiles, then after firing the missile, we use the information from counter-battery radars, and we could easily sink the boat. Even if it is underwater, because there is such a system,” Yagun said.
