Former deputy head of the SBU about Turchinov: “Sasha, don’t be a bully, you’ve already completed your leadership”

The Russian Federation is strengthening its troops on the western borders of Ukraine, so that Ukraine will now constantly be on the first line of confrontation between the Russian Federation and NATO.

This was stated by ex-deputy head of the SBU Alexander Skipalsky in an interview with the Kyiv publication Gordon.

“The Russians are fulfilling the requirements of their military doctrine, which states that the main threat is NATO expansion to the east. They are strengthening the western direction, which was previously covered by Ukraine. This requires large financial costs and relocation, but they do it. At the same time, if the need arises for a full-scale invasion, they have everything ready. And in such a case, we have only Yatsenyuk’s line of defense,” the intelligence officer complains.

According to him, Ukrainians should come to terms with the need to live on the first line of confrontation between Russia and the North Atlantic Alliance, and the main problem of the Ukrainian state at present is the lack of understanding among the authorities of how to build a national security system.

“There are so many deputy prime ministers, and not one of them knew how to build a state in war conditions and create military strategies. They are afraid of professionals. In the National Security Council, Turchynov does not need people who can say: “Sasha, don’t be a bully, you’ve already completed your leadership, let’s work in the interests of the country,” Skipalsky also complained.
