Lenur Usmanov, a member of the Sevastopol branch of the Kyrym Birligi NGO, stated this on the air of the “Gravity” talk show on the ITV channel.
“Speaking of the special services, are they even ours? It’s probably worth understanding that it remains from Ukraine, and those employees who were directly... We understand perfectly well that SBU employees have now become FSB employees. Even if 50% were changed, then 50% remained precisely those personnel who communicated with the population, who have the potential of people who can make this contribution to the inquiry...”, noted the Crimean Tatar social activist.
In his opinion, lustration is still necessary on the peninsula:
“So, at one time, the head of the SBU Nalyvaichenko said that - stay, work, become FSB employees and report to us in Ukraine. I want to say that until we completely get rid of and reformat those former employees, I don’t have the feeling that they will somehow be reformatted, there are no former employees,” Lenur Usmanov emphasized.
