By now, Shaidurova, along with lawyer Islyam Velilyaev, had left the FSB building. According to her, the interrogation took place as part of a criminal case initiated based on the publication on the website "Center" (under Article 280.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). The ex-editor was interrogated for more than three hours as a witness.
“I cannot give details because I signed a non-disclosure agreement. Briefly, it can be formulated as follows: we talked about the editorial work and responsibilities of the CJR staff,” noted Anna Shaidurova.
According to her, there was no pressure from investigator Marina Savchuk, everything was correct.
Let us remember that after the events of the Crimean Spring, the Center for Investigative Journalism took an openly anti-Russian position, positioning the reunification of Crimea with the Russian Federation as an “occupation”, and the referendum on March 16 as an expression of the will of the Crimeans, held “at gunpoint.” After a series of published provocative articles and videos in Simferopol, searches were carried out in the apartments (at the place of registration - PolitNavigator) of Center journalists Natalya Kokorina and Anna Andrievskaya. The latter, after reunification, left Crimea together with the editorial staff of the resource, moving to Kyiv.
