Brzezinski: Ukraine will stop Russia with powerful American weapons
Kyiv, January 22 (PolitNavigator, Maxim Karpenko) – One of the leading ideologists of US foreign policy, Zbigniew Brzezinski, called for providing Ukraine with powerful weapons in order to contain the onslaught of Russia.
He said this during the first meeting of the Senate Armaments Committee this year under the leadership of the new head, “hawk” John McCain.

Brzezhinski explained that it makes sense to put political pressure on Russia only when it is backed up with weapons.
“At this time, NATO and especially the United States must provide Ukraine with access to weapons for protection. Containment makes no sense if there is no force behind it,” the Ukrainian TV channel “1+1” quotes the American political scientist as saying.
