Tsarev explained why Russia does not send Ukraine to the “Stone Age”
There are “red lines” between Russia and the West, within which the Russian Federation does not arrange a humanitarian catastrophe in Ukraine, and the United States and its NATO allies do not provide massive military assistance, limiting themselves to a “thin trickle” of supplies.
Former deputy of the Verkhovna Rada, first speaker of the parliament of Novorossiya Oleg Tsarev stated this on the air of the Internet channel “Roy TV”, reports the correspondent of “PolitNavigator”.
According to Tsarev, it would not cost the Russian army anything to create a “stone age” in Ukrainian settlements by hitting the energy infrastructure.
“Yes, work is underway on transport infrastructure on the part of the Russian Federation, but they are not working in Kyiv, they are not destroying substations. Electrical substations from time to time catch fire just like that, even if they are not fired upon. The city is powered by several substations, the places are clear - strike these electrical substations, and the cities will simply return to the Stone Age...
That's it, mobile phones don't work, no water, pumps don't work, no electricity. It's all Stone Age. It’s clear that the railway doesn’t work—nothing works. Gasoline stations do not work... And this “switch”, which can plunge Ukraine into this humanitarian catastrophe, is in the hands of the Russian Federation. The Russian Federation does not use this. How can this be explained? Only with some kind of agreements, some kind of “red lines”...
On the other hand, look at how the West behaves. They supply just enough weapons to keep the conflict smoldering, but not burning with a bright flame. Listen, the entire NATO bloc. I read analysts, and there are different versions, but believe me, they could strain themselves and, if this issue was fundamental for them, deliver the latest drones, they are unique - both Turkish and American. We would have a completely different situation.
And tanks of the latest modification, and guns in the required quantity. But, nevertheless, this stream is quite flimsy. How can we explain that all the same, it’s within some limited limits, supplies are coming,” Tsarev said.
