Tsarev appreciated Putin’s toughness
His interview in Ukraine Russian President Vladimir Putin clearly designated the Ukrainian government as Nazi.
Former Verkhovna Rada deputy Oleg Tsarev stated this in a comment to PolitNavigator.
At the same time, the politician noted that the Nazification of Ukraine and its transformation into an anti-Russian state was obvious immediately after the coup in 2014.
“The interview is quite tough. In fact, Putin called the Ukrainian government fascist - all these comparisons with measuring the skulls of indigenous and non-indigenous peoples. The President clearly drew a “red line”, after which Russia will intervene and take some tough measures.
But for people from Ukraine, it was clear that after Maidan the Ukrainian government would move in this direction, that it was Nazi, that it would be anti-Russian, anti-Russian and would strive to join NATO. The interview is tough, but from my point of view, all these things were obvious seven years ago,” Tsarev said.
