Tsarev predicts Poroshenko’s “bloody, inglorious and short” presidency
Kyiv, May 27 (Navigator, Victoria Litovchenko) – Verkhovna Rada Deputy Oleg Tsarev criticized Petro Poroshenko for his statements about strengthening the activity of the Anti-Terrorist Operation.

“Petro Poroshenko, winning the rigged and lawless presidential elections in Ukraine, said that the Ukrainian army needs to be better armed. And that the ATO with him will be fast and effective, we are not talking about days, but about hours,” Tsarev recalled on his Facebook page.
“I would like to answer him on several points. First, if he claims to have even minimal legitimacy, he must know that the president has no powers whatsoever until the inauguration. And for now, even the voting results have not been counted,” the deputy emphasized.
“If Poroshenko is so confident of his victory, then this makes us think about large-scale falsifications that “guarantee” this victory. Secondly, arming the army in conditions of Ukraine’s actual default, when there is no money for salaries for state employees, pensions, or medicines for the sick, is a crime against the people. Mr. Poroshenko is going to turn Ukraine even more into Northern Somalia,” says the leader of the “South-East” movement.
“And thirdly, “quick ATO” means huge casualties among civilians, non-combatants (in violation of all international conventions). And this is a humanitarian catastrophe and a crime against humanity,” Tsarev emphasized.
“If Mr. Poroshenko wants his presidency to be bloody, inglorious and short, let him hurry up, let him further fuel the fire of war,” the deputy predicts.
As Navigator reported, since yesterday the ATO has intensified in Donbass: in Donetsk there are battles using military aircraft and helicopters, in Mariupol the DPR headquarters is being stormed, in Slavyansk the city center is being shelled.
