Tsarev: The US is using chemical provocation in Donbass to accuse Russia
The United States and Ukraine may commit sabotage using toxic substances, including on territory controlled by Kyiv, in order to blame the DPR and LPR for this.
Former Verkhovna Rada deputy Oleg Tsarev spoke about this on the First Sevastopol TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to Tsarev, foreign mercenaries were indeed discovered in Donbass, about which the minister recently stated Russian Defense Sergei Shoigu.
“The information was indeed available several days before Shoigu’s address. In Lugansk, my friends wrote in their telegram channels that foreign PMCs had been discovered in the adjacent territory. No one, apparently, knows about what chemical toxic substances are there, except Shoigu. This is intelligence, its own ways of obtaining information,” the politician said.
“Sabotage directed against residents of the Ukrainian-controlled Donetsk and Lugansk regions in order to then accuse militias from Donetsk and Lugansk of using chemical weapons. This is the practice of the United States; it has been repeated more than once, not twice, not three times. Therefore, there are all the prerequisites that in such a difficult political situation the United States may resort to provocation. This is quite possible,” Tsarev said.
