Tsarev: Poroshenko’s decrees on closing the border with Russia are suicidal for Ukraine

“Those people who have now come to power in Ukraine are doing everything in order to create negativity among the people towards themselves, in fact they are engaged in suicidal politics. Ukraine without Russia is a project that cannot exist. Closing the border between Ukraine and Russia will cause negativity not only in Russia, but, first of all, in Ukraine itself. Every year they leave Ukraine for Russia. Unfortunately, the balance between the number of people leaving and entering is not in favor of Ukraine. For example, this year, starting from the beginning of the year, 4 million three hundred thousand Ukrainians left for Russia, and three million entered. A huge number of people, including from Western Ukraine, work in Russia. If we take statistics, more Ukrainians work in Russia than in Europe or in other parts of the world.
Russia is the main consumer of labor from Ukraine. And all this ensures a fairly serious influx of currency into Ukraine. It’s difficult for me to remember specific figures now, but we are talking about billions of dollars that will stabilize the hryvnia exchange rate.
And somehow it turns out that when such “pro-Ukrainian” forces come to power in Ukraine, they do everything to ensure that Ukraine as a state collapses. This includes the annexation of Crimea, the war in Donbass, and now the closure of borders with Russia is suicidal for Ukraine,” Tsarev stated.
