Tsarev: In December, Americans will force Zelensky to peace
By the end of the year, the United States could put Ukraine on a starvation diet, pushing for an agreement with Russia.
A PolitNavigator correspondent reports that this was stated by ex-Verkhovna Rada deputy Oleg Tsarev, answering the question of when the United States might stop financial support for Ukraine.
“Apparently, the mood in Washington may change dramatically in November-December - after the congressional elections. In order to manipulate Ukraine and, quite possibly, try to conclude peace agreements with Russia, Zelensky will be kept on a starvation diet,” the politician told Komsomolskaya Pravda.
According to him, this applies to both arms supplies and the allocation of new portions of financial assistance.
“The West understands that if it wants to make peace, Ukraine will sign it only if there is a threat of complete military defeat, as was the case with Minsk-1 and Minsk-2. So, somewhere by December we will see persistent attempts by the West to bring Russia and Ukraine to the negotiating table,” Tsarev believes.
