Tsarev: We must act like Erdogan, not Poklonskaya
No Western organizations to which, for example, State Duma deputy Natalya Poklonskaya periodically addresses, are unable to force Ukraine to resume water supplies to Crimea.
The problem of the blockade can only be solved by force. The fatal mistake was to stop the advance of the militia without allowing it to create a land corridor from Donbass to Crimea. Ex-deputy of the Verkhovna Rada Oleg Tsarev stated this on air on the First Sevastopol TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“We will not solve anything through the OSCE or the UN. Look at how Türkiye, Saudi Arabia and other countries act. Everyone follows their interests very strictly and doesn’t look back. We are always looking around to see what the West will say, we hold Olympics and round tables for the West, and we are developing very powerful weapons so that “we can be taken into account.” But we need to focus on our interests and pay less attention to who will think what.
I remember the situation very well; I was in the Donbass, when the road from Mariupol was simply paralyzed while the militia was advancing. This entire “Right Sector” with looted goods loaded onto trucks clogged the entire highway, the city was completely empty, they completely liberated it - our militia units entered the city and received a clear command to leave it, that it was necessary to withstand the “Minsk Agreements”, not escalation is necessary. But there was only one step to get to Kherson - and here you go, a walking road to Crimea, and a water supply to Crimea. This would solve the problem,” Tsarev said.
