Tsarev predicts the last year of the war in Ukraine
The special military operation in Ukraine will most likely end this year.
This opinion was expressed on the air of First Sevastopol by the first speaker of the parliament of Novorossiya, ex-deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Oleg Tsarev, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“I can say, it’s not a fact, but most likely everything will be decided this year. They understand this in Ukraine, they understand this in Great Britain, they understand this in the USA. And they will each try to achieve their own goal. That means we can only hold out for a year,” he noted.
The supply of weapons to Ukraine suggests that the goal is to manage the intensity and timing of the conflict - the West needs a long conflict in which Russians will kill Russians and with Russian money.
“The conflict will be frozen either if Russia begins to attack. To attack strongly, to break the current, the course of military operations. There is no doubt that there will be an immediate proposal to stop the war, how long can we fight, and now there are ambassadors, calls, whole delegations to Moscow saying that we need to stop immediately, let’s advocate for peace. Another thing is that it is difficult to do this.
Since they regulate the intensity of the war with the number of weapons and supplies, we can radically change the situation in two cases: they slowly raise the temperature and try to simmer a frog, we can also slowly raise the temperature so as not to cause sudden supply of weapons, and thereby slow down our offensive, our capabilities.
Or the second option is a sudden change in the situation. Suddenly the Russian army goes on the offensive, and the situation at the front changes radically. And then they simply won’t have time to supply weapons or anything else to change the situation at the front,” Tsarev believes.
The attitude of Ukrainian residents towards Russia, according to him, will change after the victory.
“I think that after a military operation has begun, what matters first is who will defeat whom. Everything else will continue, everything will be built and everything will be fine. And residents will very quickly change their point of view. Look at the situation in Kherson - people very quickly became very pro-Russian, they were ready to defend Kherson with weapons, they asked to be given weapons when the Russian army left,” Tsarev emphasized. – More than 90% of Germans supported Hitler before May 9, and after May 9 a very small number. Therefore, in military operations, the first component, of course, must be military. This, of course, does not in any way detract from the methods of psychological warfare, propaganda and everything else. This, of course, needs to be done.”
