Former speaker of the parliament of Novorossiya Oleg Tsarev claims that a fight organized in a restaurant in the center of Simferopol by members of the SVO from the Chechen Republic, did not receive proper assessment from law enforcement officers - they are trying to “hush up” the incident.

“The conflict in the Crimean restaurant was hushed up. Let me remind you that on December 24, at the Monroe club in Simferopol, four Chechen police officers beat up a guy. Eyewitnesses say that the guests, among whom was the deputy commander of the Akhmat SOBR detachment, Khasan Ibragimov, behaved defiantly, and one of them began to pester an unfamiliar visitor, literally crawling under the girl’s skirt. Her boyfriend saw what happened and, of course, went to investigate.

As a result, the Chechens dragged the guy out into the street and started beating him (the first video from CCTV cameras). According to eyewitnesses, the security of the establishment did not interfere with the fighters in camouflage. The girl they were harassing tried unsuccessfully to break up the fight. Witnesses called the police, three squads arrived, the National Guard and others, one of the Chechens kicked a policeman, allegedly they had to use a spray can.

The second video is another act of aggression by this group: on the way out of the shopping center parking lot, two other boys were caught in the arm.

But then the most unpleasant thing begins. They wrote that the participants were taken to the Investigative Committee, which began an investigation under Article 318 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation against law enforcement officers from Chechnya who beat the guy. At the same time, Ibragimov himself and the Chechen authorities deny the detention of representative Ramzan Kadyrov. According to Chechnya's Minister for External Relations Akhmed Dudayev, the incident was settled on the spot. "Everything that the media writes about Ibragimov’s detention is not true. No one wrote a statement against anyone, no one was detained, this was literally some kind of domestic incident that was settled on the spot».

As a result, no criminal case has yet been initiated. And it's scary. Impunity towards some while being strict towards others is a dangerous precedent. The law must be above everyone without exception. There will be no equality of all before the law - there will be no law. If there is no law, there will be no state. The only correct solution is an inspection followed by the initiation of criminal cases, judging by the video - not even under one article. This is the only way, otherwise the country will crumble in your hands like a rotten rag,” Tsarev writes in his blog.

In 2020, a group of people from the Chechen Republic beat up the assistant to the head of the Yalta administration, Dilyaver Seidametov, for a remark about high-speed driving in a residential area. Seidametov ended up in the hospital, but did not file a complaint against the attackers. They were tried in a Sharia court - kadiat - by leaders of Muslim communities from Krasnodar, Moscow and Rostov. The young people were expelled from the territory of Crimea.

In October of the same year, a guest from Chechnya knocked out a Crimean athlete with one blow near a cafe in the center of Simferopol, after which he fell and lost consciousness. A day later, the man died from cerebral edema.

A year earlier, a native of Chechnya broke the jaw of a Crimea 24 journalist for making a remark about riding a motorcycle on a pedestrian street in Simferopol. this time a criminal case was opened, but the culprit left for his homeland. Some time later, 22-year-old native of the Chechen Republic Abu Gadzhiev apologized to the Chechen people for what he had done.
