“Tse Europe”: “Udar” deputy was hit on the head, she defended herself with a selfie stick
In the hall of the house of culture of the Kotsyubinsky village council in the Kyiv region, a fight between deputies occurred, as a result of which a woman was taken to the hospital with head injuries.
This was reported by the press service of Vitali Klitschko’s “Udar” party, to which the victim belongs, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to political forces, after the session session closed, Udar deputy Elena Sokotyuk recorded on video the conflict that was started by colleagues from the New Faces party. Klitschko’s wards claim that aggressive representatives of the “new faces” attacked the local “activist” Yuri Ustinovsky, who posed “inconvenient” questions to them as representatives of the pro-government majority. At the same time, Sokotyuk loudly declared that she saw and recorded illegal actions on camera, after which one of the deputies, Alexander Khvostenko, knocked the phone out of her hands and hit Sokotyuk on the head.
“Now she characterizes her condition as bad. She was hospitalized,” Udar reported.
At the same time, according to Golos deputy Natalya Kolomiets, the aggressive Khvostenko first hit the victim, who was defending herself with a selfie stick, on the hands, and then on the head.
“Elena Sokotyuk was fulfilling her civic duty and filming these events, a deputy from “New Faces” Khvostenko ran up to her and, hitting Sokotyuk on the hands with all his might, knocked out the phone. The phone flew several meters away. Sokotyuk put her selfie stick forward, defending herself from Khvostenko. Shouting: “What are you doing already?!”, Khvostenko hit the woman in the head with a backhand,” Kolomiets said on her Facebook.
