The West's goal is to spread the war to Russia
The persecutors of the Orthodox Church in Ukraine set themselves the goal of turning the civil war into an interfaith war and spreading it to Russia. Ex-deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Vadim Kolesnichenko told PolitNavigator about this.

“An attempt to impose on the Ukrainian Orthodox Church the image of an enemy and an agent of influence is quite dangerous. Because national wars last for decades, and religious wars for centuries. Apparently, those who ordered the war in Ukraine do not consider it to be the ultimate goal. The Ukrainian people are simply used as lumps in the fire against Russia. The fight against the Church is a fight against Russia,” Kolesnichenko said.
He drew attention to the expansionist policies of the Greek Catholics.
“The union destroyed so many Orthodox Christians in order to move its cathedra closer to Kyiv, but it could not do this in 400 years. Thanks to the actions of Yushchenko, this barrier was overcome. The Greek Catholic Church does not hide its plans. This is an expansion to the entire territory of Ukraine, to Russia, to Kazakhstan, where a very large enclave of the Russian population lives. Is it worth reminding that Greek Catholic priests blessed the Maidanists for the destruction of Berkut employees?” – said Kolesnichenko.
The only thing that pleases the ex-deputy is that the false patriarch Filaret cannot ensure that the non-canonical public organization “Kiev Patriarchate” is recognized anywhere in the world.
