The cost of the “investigation” into the MH-17 crash: Holland sided with Russia
Last night, a delegation from the Netherlands supported the PACE vote for the return of rights to Russian representatives, which they were deprived of at the request of Ukraine after the 2014 events in Crimea.
This happened despite the recently published report of the Dutch prosecutor's office, which stated the alleged involvement of the Russian Federation in the crash of the Malaysian Boeing in the Donbass, despite the fact that the Russian Ministry of Defense had previously released data that the plane was shot down by a Ukrainian missile from a launcher assigned to to a military unit in Galicia.
“Do you know who impressed me the most today? Dutch MPs. Recently, an international investigative team released the results of the MH17 tragedy. Established the involvement of Russians in the murder of 280 people. Today, the Dutch deputies voted for the return of Russia to PACE,” said Vice-Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada Irina Gerashchenko, a member of the Ukrainian delegation, indignantly.
“Our entire delegation voted against this report. We did not betray the memory of the thousands of dead and wounded. We are greater Europeans, in fact, than those who have forgotten their compatriots killed by Russia. They sold their memory for the sake of Russia’s contribution to the Council of Europe,” Gerashchenko branded the Dutch deputies with shame.
