Censorship in France: the media “did not notice” mass protests against NATO
A protest rally against France's membership in NATO and arms supplies to Kyiv, organized by the Patriots party, took place in Paris on Sunday. On the same day, 25 smaller rallies under the same slogans took place in the regions of the country, although more than 10 thousand people took part in the Paris rally alone.
The French media completely silenced her, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
Video from Paris shows several thousand people carrying French national flags and a large banner with the slogan "For Peace" marching through the center of the French capital. They chanted slogans “No planes, no tanks, no missiles for Ukraine”, “Let’s leave NATO”, “Macron, we don’t want your war” and “No to World War III”.
Florian Philippot, head of the right-wing Patriots party that organized the march, said the rally attracted about 10 people in Paris alone and was the largest anti-NATO protest in France to date.
During the rally, Filippo went on stage and, to the applause of the demonstrators, cut the NATO flag in half with scissors.
“NATO means war!” he said.
The politician has been holding protests against France's membership in NATO and the EU since the fall of last year, and also sharply criticizes the supply of French weapons to Kyiv throughout the conflict between Russia and Ukraine.
Как reported “PolitNavigator”, the French have once again launched mass protests against raising the retirement age.
