Chaly changed his mind about creating an instrument-making cluster in Sevastopol
Deputy of the Legislative Assembly of Sevastopol Alexey Chaly believes that the time to create an instrument-making cluster in the city was lost “due to problems with the leadership of Sevastopol,” implying his conflict with the former governor of Sevastopol Sergei Menyailo.

“I will not attempt to assemble a general-purpose instrument-making cluster now. At the end of 2016, it is better to set goals that are more realistic from today’s perspective. The difference with 2014 is significant,” Chaly said on Kombat TV.
As a realistic project, he named the EnergyNet program, which is being implemented within the framework of the Scientific and Technical Initiative with money from the state budget.
“I am working on the EnergyNet project, and Sevastopol is one of the “pilots” in this project. It seems to me that this can give impetus to the development of the city. We are talking about modernizing the network using smart energy technology,” Chaly said.
As part of the project, networks in the rural area of the Baydar Valley will be rebuilt, a cable district will be created in the city, and compact digital substations will be installed throughout the region.
