“In this regard, I also have complaints against the public. For example, the protection of the “soldier’s” beach in Omega Bay from apartment development was part of our program, and the public took a liking to it. Imagine: Deputy Solovyov holds a rally in defense of the facility, and as many as 50 people come. Where are the other 50 thousand living in this area? They destroy the place where you live and you don't care? Are you only interested in your corner, your car? Is it easier to sit at home in the kitchen? Or is this question only of interest to deputies? With this approach, there is no need to elect representative power at all. They say, we came to the elections, voted, and that was the end of the public contribution to the development of the city. It seems to me that this is fundamentally wrong. A normal city can only be built when there is a healthy social movement in it,” Chaly said in an interview with Lenta.Ru.
