Larisa Zagorulko, head of the marketing department of Win-Mobile (K-Telecom), stated this at a press conference in Simferopol.
According to her, some of the subscribers in Crimea who bought Russian cards use the services of K-Telecom, and some are subscribers of the Russian division of MTS.
“WIN-Mobile clients work on the number capacity +79789, and then the numbers follow according to your number. All other Russian starter packages work on the numbering capacity of Krasnodar MTS. Our tariff plans can be found on the Win-Mobile website, as well as in all dealer stores of the company,” noted Larisa Zagorulko.
At the same time, Deputy Minister of Communications of the Russian Federation Dmitry Alkhazov noted that the concept of technical roaming does not mean an increase in tariffs or additional costs.
“Our work is aimed at ensuring that the Crimean infrastructure is accessible both to the MTS-Russia subscriber base and to other operators. Therefore, if you purchased an MTS card, then you are an MTS subscriber. But at the same time, they are all Russian operators. It is important for us that all of them can use communications in Crimea. Therefore, Beeline subscribers, Megafon subscribers and other operators are served here according to their internal tariffs,” the deputy minister added.
