Some of the Ukrainian nationalists who surrendered from the Azovstal dungeons will be sentenced to death in the DPR. However, a certain number of those who came out of the basements may be sent for exchange. All others will receive long sentences.

“The MGB will study it and divide it according to the severity of the crime. Those who have served a prison term of two to five will be subject to exchange. The executioners - who will be sentenced to 10 years to the death penalty - will get it in full. It's even more effective. This will bring discord into the Ukrainian troops and national battalions. He believes that “those who will go to the scaffold will be enough for the propaganda effect with their heads, and to satisfy the feeling of revenge, and for the rest - lesser criminals - we can exchange them for ours.”
“This event has two effects, two blows to the mood in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The first is the surrender itself. The second is if part of it goes for exchange. This means that now the Armed Forces of Ukraine will think like this: “If Azov himself gave up and found an excuse for himself, then why should I be ashamed to give up?!" Plus - "even some “Azovites” were exchanged - I will be exchanged even more so or released“- Nikanorov recounted the logic of the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ behavior in the future.
