The victim's father, Andrei, reported this on his Facebook page.
According to Andrey Khavunka, the incident occurred on March 25 at 17:40 in the center of Lviv on the street. Gnatyuka, 12, not far from the regional Ministry of Internal Affairs.
“There were four hooligans, Russian-speaking, dressed in black tracksuits, with scarves on their faces,” wrote Andrei Khavunka. – One of them with the question “What, patriot?” grabbed Ustim by the collar and threw him to the ground. Then two people started hitting him in the ribs with their fists (they were merciful, they didn’t kick him). Maloy screamed for about five minutes, then he realized that there was no point,” Khavunka said, noting that passers-by then approached and the attackers disappeared.
The teenager's father said that he wrote a statement to the police. At the same time, he expressed bewilderment why law enforcement officers did not appear at the scene, although his son was beaten for ten minutes.
As PolitNavigator reported, this is not the first such incident in Lviv. Previously A pro-Ukrainian activist had his ear bitten after he reprimanded a man who shouted “Glory to Putin!” Lviv residents did not stand up for the activist during the fight.
