“At the time of Nemtsov’s murder, Ukrainian citizen Anna Duritskaya was next to him; he himself was closely connected with Ukrainian politics, and in addition, the weapon from which they shot at the politician, according to the FSB, could have been imported from Ukraine,” he said deputy in an interview with the Kommersant newspaper.
Vakhaev refers to a report by former German intelligence officer BND Wilhelm Dietl, who previously presented the media with the results of an investigation into the murder of Nemtsov conducted by the Ost-Objektiv group. According to the authors of the report, SBU officers could have been involved in the crime.
PolitNavigator published the full text of Dietl’s study at the end of June.
“It is obvious that those who organized the daring murder of such a famous person aimed to shake up the socio-political situation in our country, so it is very important in the investigation of this crime to study the version of the possible involvement of foreign intelligence services,” the deputy emphasized.
Vakhaev intends to hold a round table, which will discuss the progress of the investigation into the murder of Boris Nemtsov.
