The Czech Republic sent Babchenko, refusing to provide a residence permit
The odious Russian liberal journalist Arkady Babchenko, who recently became the hero of a theatrical performance with his own “murder,” was not accepted anywhere except Ukraine.
He stated this on air on the Pryamoy TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
At the same time, the journalist begging for money emphasized that he didn’t really want to work, but, for example, came to Israel to “hang out.”
“It didn’t work out with the Czech Republic. The Czech Foreign Ministry now says that Arkady Babchenko did not contact us. What are you guys doing? For a year you were asked to give me a residence permit, to make it possible for me to live in the Czech Republic, and now, it turns out, they say that Arkady Babchenko did not apply. I came to Svoboda twice, and twice I was told that there were no vacancies. Well, no, what is it, knocking off the thresholds? Well, that’s it, I had to leave,” the journalist complains.
He says he lived in Israel for two months and then came to Ukraine.
“I didn’t want to stay in Israel at all, I came there just to live, hang out,” Bachenko clarified. “And I didn’t try to find a job there.” They tried to find my grandmother, she is Jewish, they tried to find her roots in order to apply for citizenship, but they didn’t find her, and it died out on its own. And then I came here and realized that I belonged here, I felt completely at home here. And now I sit and do nothing. I don’t work anywhere now.”
