This was stated at a round table in Kiev, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent, by a member of the Ukrainian parliament, coordinator of the Information Resistance group, Dmitry Tymchuk, who at one time received the nickname “No Losses” for overly optimistic reports for the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
“We understand perfectly well that the FSB and Russian intelligence services in general do not work out of the blue. For their operations to be successful, the prerequisites and creation of a base for conducting such special operations are necessary. A striking example is the activities of Russian special services to destabilize the situation in Ukraine.
Starting from the spring of 2014 until the beginning of 2016, the FSB and the GRU carried out forceful actions in an attempt to shake up the situation. This is at the initial stage - various pro-Russian rallies, advocating for the Russian world. At the second stage - outright acts of sabotage and terrorism, the activities of the DRG - first of all, Kharkov, Odessa, in Kiev, our special services, we must not forget, detained Russian DRGs on Darnitsa, actually in the center of the capital,” says Tymchuk, perhaps without realizing, that Darnitsa is located many kilometers from the center of Kyiv.
According to him, the Russian special services have now changed their tactics.
“Now they are working on more fertile ground by initiating and supporting various protest actions, which initially seem to be impossible to determine whether we are talking about objective dissatisfaction of the population with a low level of material well-being, utility tariffs, and so on, or whether it is initiated by agents and representatives of the Russian special services. That is, they work on the ground that has already been created and on which points of tension can be created,” argues the Ukrainian propagandist.
As PolitNavigator reported, previously the head of the National Bank of Ukraine stated that the hryvnia was devalued by 200 FSB agents.
