Speaking during the presidential debate on the conflict in Ukraine, Poroshenko said that he is the “president of the world.”
“Lack of protection escalates the conflict. The more weapons, the stronger the diplomacy. The truce in Ukraine should be one of the ways to strengthen stability in Europe and the world,” he said.
At the same time, he recalled that Ukraine has abandoned nuclear warheads, so receiving non-lethal weapons in the current conditions would be a certain compensation.
