“The more they grind the Ukrainian Armed Forces, the faster we will get missiles from the West” - Ukrainian propagandist
Ukraine needs to resist the advance of Russian troops in every sector to the last, in order to demonstrate to the West that Ukraine is worthy of Western ballistic missiles, heavy air defense systems and other weapons.
The editor-in-chief of the Kyiv propaganda publication Censor Net, Yuri Butusov, stated this on Radio NF, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The main challenge now is Ukraine’s ability to win the battle for Donbass. Stop the creeping infantry offensive of the Russian Federation. We already have a lot of funds for this. Of course, we all need supplies of other types of modern Western weapons. But when it will happen depends on many political factors that are associated not only with Ukraine. The main thing that is needed from us is to strengthen the effectiveness of our resistance right now,” Butusov said.
He emphasized that when the West sees how the Ukrainian army is resisting, it will immediately hand over the Patriot air defense system and ballistic missiles.
“We need to focus, when we make assessments, what the West does not give us, but first of all, look at what we can and should do ourselves - right now. The fact that the West gives us a lot, and the more we put up effective resistance every month, the more it gives us,” the propagandist reasoned.
“I think there can be no doubt that, looking at our effective fight, at how Ukraine successfully resists, we will receive medium-range Patriot air defense systems, we will also receive heavy weapons, I am sure that ballistic missiles . I think the more effectively we change ourselves, organization, training, management, the faster we will get from the West what we need,” he reassured the audience.
