“What were we thinking?!” – Chervonenko is horrified by the ban on air traffic with Belarus
The cessation of air traffic with Belarus was a rash decision by the Ukrainian authorities and will lead to people having to pay more for air travel.
The ex-Minister of Transport and Communications, People's Deputy of Ukraine of the IV convocation Yevgeniy Chervonenko stated this on the NASH TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Before you judge, you need to think about your country and your family - what our performance is fraught with. We know the unwritten rule - never interfere with someone else's family. And did someone think before speaking what difficult consequences our statement would have in our situation? I can say right away that no one thinks about the people. I don’t know why trains don’t run and planes don’t fly to Russia, and now life will become even more expensive for thousands of people because they will have to fly through Turkey. It will be more expensive to fly to Europe or the Baltic,” Chervonenko warned.
