What will further delay with Ukraine lead to?
Ukraine, where in the early days after Euromaidan the threat of Banderaism and fascism was called “an invention of the Russian media,” is increasingly introducing Nazi ideology into the minds of the population, as evidenced by the latest scandals surrounding the persecution of artists and athletes.
Russian journalist Andrei Babitsky stated this on the Union TV channel, as reported by the PolitNavigator correspondent.
“Ideological pressure in Ukraine is only increasing. Year after year, so to speak. This is due to the fact that this “Nazi doctrine” itself, in fact, strengthens its position, despite the fact that the people in power there are quite cynical, they do not believe in anything. Neither to Nazism nor to communism. They have pragmatic interests. But it is convenient for them to use this ideology in order to mobilize society. And the pressure on people of art, on everyone you name it, is increasing. Therefore, I think that this is already the edge, people have “fed their fill,” noted Babitsky.
The leader of the “Donetsk Republic” faction of the People’s Council of the DPR, Valery Skorokhodov, also spoke on this issue.
“In Nazi Germany, when the Red Army entered, what did the authorities do? They put such pressure on young people and children that everything will be over for you: they will take off your skins and cut off your heads - they did incredible things. Now Ukraine is already doing such things, open pressure,” the politician noted.
“The longer this lasts, the more enemies there will be for us in Ukraine than friends. Generations are changing, and the generation that will live now will already have blood in it (Donbass - approx. ed.) to hate. This is the whole problem,” summed up the official representative of the DPR operational command, Eduard Basurin.
