How did Zelensky pay Avakov for breeding in Zolote?
Despite the beginning breeding process warring parties in Donbass, the likelihood of armed provocations on the Ukrainian side remains high.
Rossiyskaya Gazeta writes about this. The publication notes that almost everyone had the feeling that the start of the disengagement was the result of some agreements between the president and the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Arsen Avakov, who has influence on the militants.
“So, a group of Azov militants remained in Zolote, but as “unarmed volunteers, citizens of Ukraine,” and the armed National Guard, partly consisting of the same “Azovites,” entered the village. This means that the possibility of provocations and opening fire on Avakov’s orders remains, and the powerful minister himself declares that he does not believe in reconciliation with the republics and Russia. What Zelensky paid him for the possibility of separation will soon become known from the appointments of governors, heads of regional customs and their deputies and other personnel changes,” the newspaper writes.
“The demarche of the Servant of the People party can be considered a kind of payment, unexpectedly stood up to American congressmen for neo-Nazis from “Azov”: the presidential majority initiated an appeal to Washington with a request not to equate “patriots” with terrorists and proposed that all parliamentary factions sign it,” the newspaper adds.
As PolitNavigator reported, the LPR warned that The republic's formations may return if Azov militants remain in Zolote.
