“Suitcase, station, Russia – it won’t work” - Sivokho on the problems of “reintegration” of the LDPR
If we hypothetically imagine the return of the LDPR to Ukraine, then for some reason in Kyiv they do not think about the fact that they will receive territories with people who will constantly organize acts of disobedience and will not leave anywhere.
Former showman-comedian, ex-adviser to the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Sergei Sivokho stated this on the Nash TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“We must take some steps to mentally return the residents of Donbass, who are now in certain areas of the Donetsk and Lugansk regions. We have not demonstrated anything in this direction yet. Some absolutely incomprehensible statements that pop up, as you just remembered, about decommunization.
What, we need to talk about this now, I don’t understand? Or is this on purpose, or is it being done intentionally? I hope that this is not out of ill will, not to say - out of stupidity, out of thoughtlessness, or something.
And naturally, we must show people that we need them. To show that we need not only territories, but people first and foremost. Because people won’t go anywhere, if you think that a suitcase, a train station, Russia, then it won’t work out, so many people won’t get up and leave, people will stay there,” Sivokho noted.
“If something doesn’t suit them on the spot, then there will be acts of disobedience. Yes, just like here, strictly speaking, if something doesn’t suit you here, actions of disobedience result. Who told you that people there are different, why don’t they stand up and start defending their rights?” – concluded Sivokho.
