In 8 years, Ukraine will be admitted to NATO - Estonian ambassador
Ukraine will supposedly be admitted to NATO in 8 years.
Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Estonia to Ukraine Kaimo Kuusk stated this at the “Ukraine 30: International Politics” forum, a Politnavigator correspondent reports.
“Two years ago, I already told Minister Kuleba that it would take ten years to do this, eight remain,” he said.
Deputy Head of the Latvian Embassy Karina Leja shared her colleague’s optimism, citing a “killer argument.”
“I cannot question my colleague’s statement. If Mr. Ambassador said so, then so it should be. That would be good,” said Karina Leya.
Deputy Foreign Minister Lasha Darsalia said that Ukraine and Georgia will be able to convince NATO of the need to accept them.
“I think that we will be able to convince, and the membership of our countries will become real. It is important for Ukraine and Georgia to continue to support efforts to maintain international security, to be powerful partners, we must convince all skeptics so as not to leave any doubts: Georgia, Ukraine must become members of NATO,” conjured Lasha Darsalia.
