Ukrainian Defense Minister Stepan Poltorak will make a visit to the United States on February 2, during which, in particular, the issue of sending American lethal weapons to Ukraine will be discussed.

The head of the Ukrainian defense department stated this on air on the 112 Ukraine channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“I think that I will understand this for sure after my visit to Washington on February 2,” Poltorak said, answering the question of when arms deliveries from the United States will take place.
The minister emphasized that now “cooperation with the United States regarding arms supplies has improved significantly.” Also, he added, Canada has made a decision regarding the possibility of selling weapons and equipment to Ukraine.
“We also plan to work out some positions with Canada regarding military-technical cooperation and the purchase of weapons and military equipment and equipment,” Poltorak added.
