The Russian Ministry of Defense reported that it forced two NATO drones that were conducting reconnaissance over the Black Sea to change course.

“The flight of two MQ-9 “Reaper” and TB2 “Bayraktar” unmanned aerial vehicles was recorded, conducting aerial reconnaissance in the area of the Crimean Peninsula. In order to suppress a possible violation of the State Border of the Russian Federation and counteract the conduct of electronic reconnaissance UAVs, two Russian fighters were lifted from the duty air defense forces. As a result of the actions taken, the UAVs changed their flight direction and left the aerial reconnaissance areas,” the report says.

“Six months have passed since their predecessor was keroseneed, so that it crashed into the waves. It was enough for six months, now we started checking the reaction again. So it would be safer to shoot down in order to consolidate the emerging instincts,” says former LPR Ambassador to Moscow Rodion Miroshnik.

By the way, contrary to numerous forecasts that the collapsed American spy drone would be raised from the bottom of the sea and sent to investigate secrets, the Russian side did not report anything about the fate of the enemy UAV.

You need to understand that NATO drones and spy planes monitor the situation over the Black Sea on a daily basis. The Rybar channel, founded by Mikhail Zvinchuk, estimated on August 18 that at least six NATO drones were used for these purposes, as well as a US reconnaissance aircraft.

They monitor not only the situation around Crimea and the fleet base in Novorossiysk, but also the route of ships, which, despite Russia’s warnings, continue to go to Ukrainian ports on the Danube along a route close to the coast - in the territorial waters of Ukraine and Romania, which makes it practically impossible to inspect them Russian ships.
