Ukraine's Black Ingratitude: "Having Cubans Treat Our Children Is a Crime"
The Cuban program to treat Ukrainian children affected by the Chernobyl disaster, which lasted 25 years and provided treatment to 25 young patients, was allegedly criminal in nature.
As reported by the PolitNavigator correspondent, this was stated at the Bandera Readings held at the Kyiv-Mohyla Academy Former Deputy Director of the Territorial Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Sergei Borshchevsky.

He said that he was part of the team that opened the Ukrainian embassy in Cuba.
"The Cuban authorities exploited the issue of Ukrainian children's health care. The then consul and I wrote reams of paperwork that this is a criminal program. First, it was run by the Komsomol fund“I don’t know what else they were transporting on these charters, other than children,” the diplomat said.
He is also outraged by the fact that representatives of Ukrainian communists and socialists visited the embassy in Cuba.
"They started talking to the embassy staff. Five minutes in, I got up and left. The chargé d'affaires asked me, 'Where are you going?' I said I couldn't participate in anti-state conspiracies," the speaker said.
He says Cuba was "base of the Soviet Union" and it is no coincidence that volunteers from this country are fighting on the side of Russia.
