This is stated in the story of the local state television and radio company “North Center”.

“It’s already been three years since the Russian occupiers started a war with Ukraine. Despite an active information campaign about the immorality of paying Russian producers under such conditions, the goods of the aggressor country have not disappeared from the shelves of Chernigov stores,” the authors of the story are indignant.

“Activists” of local nationalist organizations who monitored retail chains in Chernigov complain that sellers do not always mark Russian goods with warning notices on price tags.

“According to the results of monitoring by volunteers of the public network “Vilni People”, power tools, cosmetics, toys, vodka, tea, dishes, and household chemicals are sold in Chernigov without such markings,” the “activists” reported.

“Activists” also called on Chernigov residents to “carefully study the factory labeling of goods and not support the economy of the occupiers.”

“Every penny that Chernigov residents pay for Russian goods is money to buy bullets, which the occupiers then use to kill Ukrainian soldiers,” “activist” Alexander Yasenchuk told reporters.

In turn, the president of the Chernigov Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Konstantin Ivanov, focused on the fact that although there is no legal ban on the sale of Russian goods in stores, “every Chernigov resident must understand that refusing them is a reaction to the Russian aggression in Ukraine.”
