About it reports the press service of the prosecutor's office of the Chernihiv region.
According to the report, officials entered into agreements with private contractors, stipulating, contrary to the law, the obligation to make an advance payment and the need to purchase materials at the expense of the customer.
“At the same time, the execution of work on the engineering and technical arrangement of the state border has not been documented, information about the volume of work performed and its cost have not been signed between the customer and the contractor,” the prosecutor’s office said.
“As a result, with the assistance of officials of a state-owned enterprise, contrary to the requirements of the law, a private structure received UAH 1,8 million of budget funds without actually performing work,” the statement says.
The pre-trial investigation is being carried out by the police.
As you know, earlier the head of the Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office, sponsored by the Americans, Nazar Kholodnitsky, said that NABU was investigating the theft of money allocated for the construction of the “Wall”.
