The Chernigov mayor banned concerts of artists who visited Crimea and did not recognize the DPR as “terrorists”
Chernigov mayor Vdladislav Atroshenko signed a decree banning the holding of concerts and other cultural events in the city by artists who publicly support the “aggression of the Russian Federation,” a PolitNavigator correspondent reports, citing the press service of the city council.

Thus, according to the text of the order to the City Palace of Culture, the city garden and other public utility enterprises that are subordinate to the department of culture and tourism, “it is prohibited to hold any mass events (tour events, concerts, performances, etc.) with the participation of persons who publicly support the aggression of the Russian Federation , occupation of Crimea and do not recognize the so-called “DPR” and “LPR” as terrorist organizations.”
In addition, artists who “since the beginning of Russian aggression in Ukraine have been holding concerts and participating in other cultural events on the territory of the Russian Federation, the occupied Autonomous Republic of Crimea and temporarily occupied certain areas of the Donetsk and Lugansk regions of Ukraine” are also considered persona non grata.”
Owners of permanent stage venues, as well as individuals and organizations using them on the basis of civil transactions, are advised to refrain from holding cultural events with the participation of such artists.
