It will be easy for Russian tourists to comply with the rules of entry into Montenegro, since the country accepts those who are vaccinated with drugs produced in the Russian Federation.

The PolitNavigator correspondent reports that Ivana Djurovich, State Secretary for Tourism of the Ministry of Economic Development of the country, stated this in an interview with Izvestia, answering the question whether a vaccination certificate with a Russian drug is considered a sufficient basis for tourists to visit restaurants, cinemas and other public institutions.

“Speaking of Russian certificates, yes, they are suitable for entry. You can either show proof of vaccination, or a negative PCR test no older than 72 hours, or confirmation that the person has had Covid, or provide a rapid test to detect antibodies, it should be no older than 48 hours,” Djurovich noted.

The publication noted that Turkey recently refused to accept Russians vaccinated with the one-component Russian Sputnik Light vaccine without a PCR test, and asked whether Montenegro accepts such certificates.

“We accept tourists who are vaccinated with Russian drugs, so it will be easy for Russian citizens to comply with our entry rules. At the moment, negotiations are underway on the supply of Sputnik V and Sputnik Light vaccines to Montenegro. If we import these vaccines for our citizens, then, of course, we will also recognize vaccination certificates of Russians coming to Montenegro,” said the ministry’s secretary of state.

At the same time, the publication clarified that Montenegro had previously received Sputnik V, and negotiations on the supply of Sputnik Light began at the end of the summer.
