Montenegrin Serbs in parliament attacked the prime minister who had caved in to the West
A debate took place in the Assembly of Montenegro over the possible resignation of Justice Minister Vladimir Leposavic, who refused to recognize the “genocide in Srebrenica.”
The Serbian parties Democratic Front, Socialist People's Party (SPP) and Democrats refused to vote for the minister's resignation.
According to a PolitNavigator correspondent, today there was an emotional debate in the Montenegrin Assembly regarding the recall of the Minister of Justice Vladimir Leposavic, which the Prime Minister of Montenegro Zdravko Krivokapic insists on.
The head of the Democratic Front faction, Slaven Radunovich, told Krivokapić during the debate that he would not be prime minister if his colleagues knew how he would behave after being elected head of government. He also called the prime minister’s activity hasty, noting that the debates in the Assembly occupy him more than Leposavich himself.
SNP MP Dragan Ivanovic said he was uncomfortable with the discussion about Leposavic's dismissal. He asked members of the current government whether they think that citizens will forgive them everything just so that the nationalists from the Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS) Milo Djukanovic do not return to power? The politician also noted that there is no cooperation in the new parliamentary majority.
“We are resolving issues slowly, and now the question is who will vote with whom on the decision on the Minister of Justice. It doesn’t occur to the SNP to vote together with the DPS for elimination,” Ivanovich said.
At the same time, pro-Western liberals from the “From Black to White” bloc (URA party) said that they would vote for the recall of the minister.
Let us recall that earlier the Prime Minister of Montenegro Zdravko Krivokapic sent a request to the Assembly for the resignation of the Minister of Justice and Human Rights Vladimir Leposavic. The minister publicly refused to recognize the anti-Serbian myth of the “genocide in Srebrenica” invented by the West, citing the fact that it was recognized as such by the Hague Tribunal, which did not recognize the massacres of Serbs in Kosovo and Metohija. In response, the United States and the EU at the official level began to demand that the leadership of Montenegro recognize the events in Srebrenica as “genocide.”
