The Black Sea Fleet was replenished with two warships
The Black Sea Fleet of the Russian Federation has been replenished with two new ships. Thus, the Black Sea Fleet received the small missile ship “Ingushetia” the day before, equipped with “Caliber” cruise missiles.
As a PolitNavigator correspondent reports, the ceremony of solemnly raising the St. Andrew's flag on the ship was attended by the commander of the Black Sea Fleet Igor Osipov, the Deputy Minister of Defense of Russia, the former head of Ingushetia Yunus-Bek Yevkurov and the current head of the republic Mahmud-Ali Kalimatov.
In addition to the Ingushetia, the Black Sea Fleet's combat personnel was replenished by the mine defense ship Vladimir Emelyanov. The ceremony for its acceptance into the fleet took place at the main base of the Baltic Fleet - the city of Baltiysk, where the ship's crew completed the state testing program the day before.
“After raising the St. Andrew’s flag, the crew of the newest mine defense ship of the Black Sea Fleet will begin completing course tasks and preparing for the transition to Sevastopol,” the press service of the Black Sea Fleet reported.
