“The crew of the frigate of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Navy “Alamgir” went to sea to conduct a joint naval exercise “PASSEX” with the ships of the Black Sea Fleet. The first episode of the exercise was the escort of a Pakistani warship and the Black Sea Fleet patrol ship Pytlivy behind the trawl of the sea minesweeper Mineralnye Vody,” the statement said.
Sailors of the two countries conducted private training in communications, joint maneuvering, search and rescue exercises at sea, and also practiced joint actions to repel an attack from a small surface target.
Today, the frigate "Alamgir" will leave the territorial waters of the Russian Federation and will continue to perform tasks in accordance with its voyage plan.
