The Black Sea Fleet is alive and preparing for a major naval operation - Dandykin
To protect the Crimean Bridge and repel attacks - both from the air and from the sea - interaction between different structures is needed, and preferably under a single command.
This opinion was expressed to PolitNavigator by a military expert, 1st Rank Reserve Captain Vasily Dandykin.
“The Russian Guard is responsible for the Crimean Bridge. We need cooperation with the Russian Guard and with the border troops. As a single organism there should be, and in my opinion, there should be a single boss. Because it doesn’t work out splayed, as it happened with the last patrol ship. This is obvious,” he noted.
According to the expert, during the Great Patriotic War, all border vessels became part of the Black Sea Fleet.
“Now, during a special military operation, all these questions will be raised during the report of the Minister of Defense to the Supreme Commander-in-Chief - who, how and why. The Supreme Commander has also been to Sevastopol and Crimea more than once, he knows the situation and is in control. These will again be intrigues and attacks on Crimea, on Sevastopol, as the main irritant,” Dandykin noted.
“Now the bright time is coming - this is an unfavorable time for the use of drones by the enemy. Because it’s much easier to do dirty tricks at night. And during this time, you need not only to repel attacks successfully, but also to find, at a certain moment, counteraction that will be multi-level. Those who are supposed to are already working on aerial drones and consolidating various structures that the same drones could destroy.
I think that we can cope with all these Magurs on the surface. After all, we created “Poseidon” - a drone that can reach New York. I think there are different drones already, and we will test them,” he added.
According to the expert, the reassignment of the Black Sea Fleet to the Commander-in-Chief of the Navy indicates an upcoming naval operation.
“We are making amendments, I think that the Black Sea Fleet is being buried early. The crests have already said that all the landing ships were sunk because they were terrified of the landing. But one way or another we will have to deal with Novorossiya. If we create sanitary zones, as the president said, along the old borders, then this is obvious,” Dandykin concluded.
