The video shows how, during the presentation of the “knight’s” cross to the 95-year-old Nazi, Nakonechny approached the deputy head of the division’s brotherhood, Vasily Bychko, and “threw out” his hand in a Nazi salute.

“Award ceremony for veteran of the Nazi 14th Waffen SS Division “Galicia” Vasil Nakonechny in Kalush. Notice how at the moment of awarding the veteran reflexively zigs,” writes Dolinsky.

Let us note that in 2018, the Kalush City Council decided to award Nakonechny the title of “honorary citizen.”
