A quarter of the fighters escaped from the Kievan Rus battalion
Kyiv, November 13 (PolitNavigator, Victoria Litovchenko) – After rotation, a quarter of the fighters of the Kievan Rus battalion did not return. This was announced by battalion commander Alexey Savich.

“The battalion has been on rotation for more than a month, the soldiers have received leave. Of which, unfortunately, not all returned. Some began to “mow” from further service. About 25 percent of the fighters did this. There are also those who simply disappeared after their vacation and we still don’t know their whereabouts. There are four of them now. This list was submitted to the military law enforcement service, the fugitives face a prison term,” Savich said.
According to him, the unit is now being reformatted into a new structure, which will be called a separate motorized infantry battalion.
As PolitNavigator reported, earlier fighters of the Prykarpattya terrorist battalion were accused of desertion, which allegedly caused the “Ilovaisk cauldron.”
