The situation in Kharkov continues to deteriorate - looters began to rob small shops, markets and many retail chains are closed, and there are huge queues at open ones; Kharkov residents are demanding that the mayor make a corridor for civilians to exit. Social network users from Kharkov write about this, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

A video showing queues at stores and empty kiosks where owners had removed goods in anticipation of looters was posted by YouTube user Lucky Collector.

“The situation regarding shops and kiosks: there is already information that looters in the city have begun to smash cigarette kiosks. Stores that sell cigarettes have already removed everything from their windows. In fact, all such stores will close. Judging by what I see, everything is heading towards this - small shops... Fourth day. People are already in such a panic!” he comments.

“They sell eggs. 80 hryvnia ten. Fuck you businessmen! This is tough! The queue is scary... It’s very dangerous to walk everywhere now, they’re looking for saboteurs everywhere,” another user comments on his video.

“Huge queues at the still-operating grocery stores ATB and Silpo, the markets are empty. According to information from Kharkov residents, Attika and Kiset kiosks were hacked and robbed in different areas of Kharkov,” writes Facebook user Andrey Borodavka in the XAPІKOB group.”

Some commentators claim that the kiosks are being hit because they “neglect the blackout requirement.”

“During the hour of war there is no need to buy food? It’s good for those who shop and operate. And the kiosks were broken, and they didn’t want anything about light masking. For the military hour rule? Without blame, I'm the ruler! As long as the Kisets and Attica continue to glow at night, then this will be their fate. Aja got ahead of himself!” user Nikolay Chernichkin wrote in a comment.

It's not just kiosks that are robbed. Taxi passengers, in particular, are attacked.

"Attention! An elderly taxi driver from the Bolt passenger transportation company stole a backpack from his passenger with an expensive laptop, Bluetooth headphones for an iPhone and other things. When the passenger wanted to take the backpack into the car, the driver did not allow it, but he saw the laptop when the guy took money and documents from there. Having reached Poltava, the driver unloaded all the bags except the backpack. The taxi driver doesn't answer calls. This looks like looting,” writes Lyudmila Bobneva in the group “Kharkov and Kharkovites.”

"Bitch." Scum!”, “It doesn’t look like it, it’s looting!”, “Moroder,” these are the comments people leave under this message. User Ilya Deryabin reported that looters robbed one of the stores of the Agromol chain.

“In Bavaria, at 10.00, 10 people broke into an agricultural mill, and there was joy on their faces, a time when a friend could be stabbed in the back,” he writes.

People complain that the authorities are not taking any measures to evacuate civilians.

“Dear Mayor of Kharkov!!!!!
Take urgent measures, create a corridor for the evacuation of children, mothers, and the elderly! Children are scared, hungry, damp!!! Save people!!!”, writes user Anastasia Sergeevna in the group “XAPьKOB”.
