Chiygoz demanded that Zelensky “knock out Putin’s teeth”
The Kiev authorities should not have carried out an exchange of mutually detained persons; they should have sought extradition from Russia without any conditions.
Deputy head of the Mejlis (banned in the Russian Federation) Akhtem Chiygoz stated this in a conversation on the “Direct” TV channel, reports the “PolitNavigator” correspondent.
“This kind of exchange has elements of humiliation for us. Russia demands that we hand over those who have nothing to do with the Russian-Ukrainian war, in order to once again demoralize us, poke and kick us.
These are no longer the mechanisms of that victory. When it comes to our citizens in Crimea, Crimean Tatars and others who ended up in dungeons, then we should not talk about exchange. To do this, you need to move through victory, success, and very strong pressure on the enemy. And then he will be forced to let them go.
And if every time, at the cost of such serious mistakes and concessions, we take away several people, and in return, in our occupied territories, hundreds of thousands potentially already in colonies... It’s a semblance of freedom to live in Crimea.
You are in a colony, in a zone from which they choose you and make your situation even worse; they put you in prison for no reason.
When you know that you are fighting for the struggle, for your homeland, for your state, for your people, and by peaceful means, and these occupiers are imprisoning you, this is a terrorist state, and in return they demand those who are really not only a threat to us, to Ukrainians, but also for the world... For example, Tsemakh, whom we also shamefully gave up and now have consequences.
I believe that we have lost a lot of face by agreeing to this kind of exchange,” the extremist is indignant.
According to him, the authorities should not forget that “they are dealing with an enemy, not a partner.”
“The main thing is not to mold Putin into a partner, to clearly define for yourself, I mean the current government, to define Putin as an enemy. And an enemy who will not stop until he destroys all of Ukraine. And when you have a clear vision that you cannot make any long-term plans with him regarding our occupied territories, you will immediately have consistent and stable allies again.
Both the French and the Germans will have no choice in how to behave towards us. This will determine our entire future destiny,” says the radical pardoned by Putin.
Ukraine is supposedly an example for other countries, rants Akhtem Chiygoz.
“The same Belarus, Georgia, Moldova look with great hope at Ukraine, at our example, so we showed that we can knock out the teeth of such an enemy as Putin. We showed this to the whole world,” raves the Mejlis member.
